This is the stunning Miss J. It isn’t often where I have a client come into the studio that is a natural. 98% of the time I give 100% guidance but not in this case. Miss J rocked this session and here is what she had to say:

Why did you book a boudoir photo session? I wanted to get my boyfriend a little something extra for his birthday. There’s only so much you can do with your phone and a mirror, so figured, why not step it up a notch.

How did you prepare for your session? Hours of googling outfits, ideas, and poses so I could find exactly what I wanted. Then I went to several lingerie stores to find the perfect outfit. But really, who doesn’t love shopping…?

Who are your boudoir images for? They are for my boyfriend.

How was your boudoir session photography experience? Surprisingly fun. Shawna knows what she’s doing and goes above and beyond to make you feel fantastic. I had taken the day off work, only to find I’d actually BE working for another 3 hours. But so worth it. Without a doubt, I’d do another shoot in a heart beat.

How did you feel after your session? Right after, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Just crossing my fingers that there would be a couple good photos. But after receiving the photos, any insecurities went right out the window. From the poses you do, to the facial expressions, everything is worth it. Whether you’re feeling self conscious or ridiculous at the time, there’s absolutely no need for it because the photos are amazing.

Why should other women do a boudoir shoot for themselves? Not only will you feel absolutely beautiful, you get to see yourself in a way most women can’t imagine. Whether it’s for someone special or just for yourself, everyone should have a boudoir experience.
